Camila Reimers is a Canadian writer who was born in Chile and lives in Canada. Graduated from the Universtiy of Chile and University of British Columbia. In 2016, received two awards from the International Latino Book Award in the United States, the novel De conventos, cárceles y castillos and the book for children: When the Condor Meets the Eagle. Moreover, she is a radio host on CHIN Ottawa 97.9 FM, in charge of the only program in Spanish dedicated to children offered to the community. In 2013 she won the CEMA Award (Canadian Ethnic Media Association) as the best ethnic program across Canada. Winner of several competitions of short stories for adults and children, in 2014 she was selected as a Spanish writer for a project sponsored by UNESCO that published “The Best of All Worlds” a collection of children stories promoting multiculturalism, written in seven different languages and translated to English and French.
